Wi-Fi designed for your building
We start with a wireless survey of your space: walls, floors, ceiling heights and how many people and devices use each area. From that we decide how many access points you need and where they go, and we mount them on the ceiling with a cable back to the network, not plugged into an outlet behind a desk. After install we check coverage room by room.
Switches, firewalls and network setup
We install and configure business switches, routers and firewalls, and set up separate networks for staff, guests, cameras and phones so one problem does not take everything down. We coordinate with your internet provider when a new circuit is coming in, and set up secure remote access when your team works from home.
VoIP phone systems and paging
We install IP desk phones, overhead paging and intercom systems, and make sure the network gives voice traffic priority so calls stay clear.
Ongoing IT support
Smart Tech handles the network and the infrastructure. For day-to-day IT support such as computers, accounts, email, backups and help desk, we work with our sister company Alpha IT Services, so you have one team covering everything from the cable to the laptop.
What affects the price
The size and construction of the building, the number of access points and switch ports, whether cabling is needed for them, the brand and licensing of the equipment, and how much configuration is involved. The estimate lists equipment and labor separately.
